I had unprotected vaginal sex with a girl, about 2 weeks ago, whose status of HIV is unknown. I have been having very high viral fever for the past 3 days. It's about 100-102 F. I have sore throat too, but I am not coughing, and my nose isn't blocked. I don't have any rashes on my body. I checked my glands on my neck, and they are not really swollen. No matter how much paracetamol and ibuprofen tablets I take, the fever comes back to me in a few hours. When I take tablets, it feels good after an hour. Although, the effect remains for only 4-5 hours. I have been also having headache, and have been feeling very fatigued. Don't have any night sweats though. The girl that I had sex with, wants to be in a relationship with me. It may be she has the HIV virus in her body, but doesn't know about it. She said that she doesn't like having sex with a condom on. She had been in a relationship with 2-3 guys before. I have kind of broke up with her, and I am not seeing her anymore. Anyways, my point is, do you think I might have HIV in me? I get viral fevers 2-3 times a year, and cold flu about 4 times a year. Should I just go for a HIV testing?

It's good that you are aware and thinking of HIV. However, it's entirely possible you have caught a simple flu illness from that girl. The only way to know for sure is to get tested. Bear in mind two weeks after sex may be two soon for the HIV test to be reliable. It's definitely worth repeating it six weeks after sex to be sure.
I suggest you visit your local Sexual Health / GUM clinic (bashh.org/clinics).
Dont panic. Remain calm.
I suggest you visit a doctor and get tested. There have been evidence that antiviral therapy can work in protecting from HIV infection if administered within 24 hours or slightly over. Please see this link:
Ensure you always use protection in the future, and remember not to panic. Act on it, and seek medical consultation.
all the best
Testing for HIV is the only way to know for sure if you have HIV. Testing for HIV is quick, easy, painless, confidential and almost always free. If you test regularly for HIV, and after every time you put yourself at risk, you can keep yourself healthy by getting the treatment you need. It is always better to know.
