valtrex and HBP

Hi everyone, recently I was taking valtrex for the 3 days and all of a sudden my BP went up very high. Unfortunately it was so high that I had to go to ER. They had trouble getting it down so I was admitted . Eventually it went down .The day I was discharged and got home it went back up. Then after 3 days it finally settled. Probably a rebound effect. I’ve been having outbreaks like twice a month. I finish with one and then I get another. Am so over this. Does anyone take valtrex daily ? Have you had any side effects ? Has it worked for you ? Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
