Do you recommend the copper coil?

I am considering the copper coil and I’ve heard mixed review about it so I wanted to see wether people recommend it. I have taken different pills for many years now but I want to switch to the coil as it’s hormone free. I am aware that bleeding and pain are very likely to become worse and I can cope with that. What other side effects did you experience and do you regret getting the coil? Thank you

Every woman is different Ellie. Sometimes the only way to know how a type of contraception is for you is to try it yourself. You sound like you have already decided that if you did experience some of the possible side effects, you could manage them. the plus side is 5 years of very effective, hormone free contraception . Don't forget you also have the option of a Mirena or Kyleena IUS if you already have any issues with your periods.

Morning, I'm wondering if you might be better asking opinions on the women's health section? (or, as well).
