Rigevidon -- causing heavy bleeding and cramps

Hi I am on the combined pill Rigevidon.. not for birth control but to have less periods...as reccomeded by GP i was to run three packs together then stop for a week ...i have taken it continuously for 2 months but 10 days ago i started bleeding which alternates heavy to light flow.and cramps / pain which I never had before. Due to whats happening around the world at present our surgery is GP surgery is closed . Our local chemist .are also very busy.. Has anyone else experienced this did it settle down or would i have to change to a differnt brand

As far as am aware, the new guidance is that if you take the pill continuously , that when you experienced break through bleeding, you should stop taking the pill for 4 days , allow a bleed to happen ( you are still protected from pregnancy ) and then continue as before.
