Acne and hormonal on rigevidon

I've just started taking rigevidon after having a baby. I'm on my second packet and I've suddenly got painful acne on my chin and back and im quite hormonal. Will this get better or should I change to a different brand? I was on this before and never had any issues

How soon after delivery did you restart ?

Think 7 or 8 weeks

Ok that's great, the guidance says you shouldn't restart earlier than 6 weeks ( if breastfeeding ). Have you been on this combined pill before ?

Yes the same one and I was fine. I'm also worried about the things I've read about blood clots that girls have been getting from taking rigevidon

All combined pills have a small risk of blood clots. In pregnancy the risk is about 20 times a non pregnant woman. In a regular chc user its about twice the risk . Although the pill is the same, your body may have changed after delivery. If anxious or you continue to have skin issues, there are many other chc's out there, and also non oestrogen containing pills, and non hormonal contraception ( IUD )

I’m on rigevidon and I’m currently not having many problems but I’ve seen on Facebook and other social media that some people have changed for similar reasons. Try reading a bit more into this pill and check if it’s the right pill for you x
