IUD Tips

I’ve had my IUD in since September last year and I had one normal period but the one after that has lasted until now and I’m really worried. I can’t tell anyone in my house because they don’t believe in sex before marriage. The clinic said it would be irregular for a while but I’m really scared to be honest.

try taking a pregnancy test or going hospital you might be miscarrying hence the ongoing bleeding 🩸. Try going to see someone or emergency gynaecologist unit in your near by hospital , or your iud is coming out of place ?

Hi! Thank you for your advice! I have taken a pregnancy test before, and it’s negative! I asked the clinic and they said the same about taking the test. I’m mostly just scared cause it’s lasted so long

Very sorry to hear that if your not pregnant then it might be that maybe the IUD is causing issues and you should try looking into an alternative if you dont feel so good

I have an IUD and I had a continuous period/spotting for 4 months straight. Now it's normal. Well better then normal because it's light. I've had it for over 2 years now. I know it sucks but it should get better.

I was freaking out at first too. Track how long you've been bleeding and inform your gynecologist just to be safe. That's what I did.

My first few periods with my copper IUD were hellish!!Huge amount of bloating, sore boobs where I just wanted to cut the damn things off and bloating terrible terrible bloating. BUT it did settle down after 2 or 3 months.

At that time I was very stressed and emotional and it once took 70 Days for my period to arrive!! I was freaking out. Another time took 40 days!!

It seems to just depend on when your body's ready to start self regulating itself I suppose.

My 1st IUD, in the end it hadn't been put in properly and I had to have a new one put in but I'd recommend them to anyone. Even to teens as it's pretty fools proof!!

Hope you get your situation sorted out!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
