I've been with my boyfriend a few months but the past few weeks it's been sore when we had sex. My intimate area has felt raw since then and i've developed dry skin in that area. I'm also having strange discharge. Surely if it was an STD the symptoms would have developed soon after we first had sex?

It *could* be an STD... but... this may be nothing but simple skin irritation.

I would go and have a chat with your GP (or a GUM clinic). That's how you get a proper diagnosis. Any diagnosis here is guesswork.

If it's skin irritation then consider using lubricant (lube). Chat to your GP/GUM clinic - they're used to this stuff...
