PLease help , worry about my HIV result !!

So i think i might have a high risk of HIV explosure at mid-march and after 11weeks I went for a blood test for all STD infection , the HIV result is negative but however i got false positive syphilis, can someone have hiv but misinterpreted as false positive syphilis and how accurate was the HIV test ?

HIV and syphilis tests are completely different, so no, they could not get mixed up or misinterpreted. False positive syphilis results are relatively common and not usually a concern. It can take up to three months for syphilis to show on a test, even if you were just short of that at 11 weeks, I would be satisfied both your results are accurate.

Completely different tests. If you had a "fourth generation" aka Duo test (which the majority of sexual health clinics in the UK use you can be reassured that you don't have HIV.
