The symptoms you describe are not those usually associated with HIV, which often cannot be detected even by testing until 3 weeks or more after infection. HIV often has no symptoms for years, although many people have a brief flu-like illness a few weeks after infection.

However, although the symptoms you describe are unlikely to be because of HIV, if you have had unprotected sex outside of a long term relationship it is a good idea to get yourself checked out at your local sexual health clinic. Apart from anything else, you will know for sure if all is ok so can relax fully, and if you unfortunately have picked up an Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) you can get it treated as soon as necessary. If you have reasons to believe your partner is likely to have HIV it would be a good idea to tell them this, although they should test routinely for all relevant infections.

Many STIs are annoying rather than dangerous and are very easy to treat, but can be passed on to other partners. So it is best to get checked, either to put your mind at rest or to get treated. If you google "Sexual health clinic" and your town you'll find where they are, they will be happy to help and advise. Or you could go to your usual GP if you prefer.

If you're worried then get a test just to put your mind at rest but my partner gets (what sounds like) the same symptoms after sex but it's just because of the blood rush that accompanies ejaculation...
