Hi. I am asking if anyone struggles with getting insurance when going abroad with having Ataxia and, who is the best/cheapest company to go with? Many thanks x

I need to disclose a couple of conditions, and didn’t struggle to get insurance. It may cost a little bit extra, but it’s still possible.

I can’t get onto the link at the moment but..if you log onto ataxia.org.uk…….there is info re Insurance.

🤔 This may have been the company I used..

we use Staysure - I have ataxia band my husband has had bowel cancer but no probs x

I've used a few companies hubby and I both have few conditions to declare I usually use whichever is cheapest as can be quite expensive but do a search first and compare companies and what you need to be covered for if it's just Ataxia it meant not being too bad be declare everything

Staysure, they specialise in travel insurance for those with disabilities
