took me by surprise

I live in an independent living block of flats and try to get out of it for a walk every day. Yesterday the cleaner/temporary warden commented on how much worse my walking has got. "Why is that" she said. Blimey, I didn't know it showed that much. It is getting more difficult though. I don't want to take a step back to using a scooter again. Would rather use two sticks than that. I wonder if I can request an extra one from the therapist?

🤔 Jean, my walking is really variable, I mostly manage at the moment with a walking stick, and when necessary a rollator.

We are all experts in what we feel comfortable using to keep us safe and mobile 🙂 Before the bad weather sets in, it could be a good idea to speak to your therapist for their thoughts 🤔

I tried two sticks Jean, but my co-ordination was such, that I was safer in my electric powerchair, but good luck to you.

Change the Nancy Sinatra song to “These sticks are made for walking” lol! 😘 Xx
