Helped Me

Just thought I would share the wee things that helped me last week.

I arranged for someone to cut my grass once a fortnight . The council have put an assisted lift in place for all my bins which as my drive is on a hill is brilliant. They take all my bins including recycling down the hill and back.

I go to my first Jigsaw session in the water I’ve been on their waiting list from October. They’re a Belfast charity and have taken me even though I’m outside their are. I hope to get back in the pool with them 😀

Keep Smiling 😀

That's good to hear. I hope you enjoy your swimming! The bin men around here, if you contact the council, will collect and return your bins but it's not something we all know about. My biggest thing that has helped me, several years ago, was 'giving in' and using a wheelchair. The relief!

I loved getting in the pool again and I’m going back to my swimming coach thanks to my new acre compact

I know it was a big decision regarding your wheelchair but I’m sure it’s given you much more freedom

I’m only starting to learn to get out of my own way took me too long to get my rollator for example xx
