Blurred vision SCA6

Hello,

Peter my hubby has SCA6 and has terrible problems with blurred vision.

He is supervised by his neuro opthamologist and given different types of prisms but to no avail.

Any suggestions please.

Hello. Lola

Like your husband I too have eye problems and as far as I know there are no treatments. I thought there might be eye exercises but was told there aren't any. It seems that at the moment Ataxia in general is one of the very many health problems to which there are no solutions In the mean time we must keep cheerful and count the very many good things in life----not always easy but we must try.

Your husband like me, is very fortunate in having the love and care of a partner as there are so many Ataxians who live on their own with little or no help

Take care both of you. Regards. Ted

Thank you so much for your reply. This Ataxia business is awful for the patients. So frustrating!

I wish you and your partner all the very best.

😄
