I looked on patient.co.uk and if you search for free/reduced cost prescriptions
it lists those eligible.
Ataxia isn't specifically mentioned. But if you can't go out without assistance,
that seems to make a difference.
Also, anyone on low income is exempt. xB

I don't really have anything to add to Beryl's excellent advice. Except maybe ask/discuss it with your GP.

I'v e got an NHS exemption card which means I don't have to pay for prescriptions.This has been useful as all sorts of medication have been tried for my Ataxia-no joy.The Dr arranged it for me.
