what are the blf views on electronic cigarettes and do they have any research on them !!!

i have been useing e cigs for about 10 years i started on 36 mg nicotine i have now got it down to 4 mg which is about the same as some green veg the so called smoke is a water vapour you get the same feeling in your throht when smokeing cigs and have something to hold in your hand. The issue with e cigs is that there is no independent research available about e-cigs - so no one can say what (if any ) problems they may cause or if they are any better or worse than cigarettes.

All those years ago we were told that it just just tobacco we were smoking, no mention of the other hidden nasties.

Now the e-cig people (in China) say it's just a vapour, but what's in it really ? I remember a scare with a kiddies toy, a water snake based on balloon like material, that had contaminated water inside. How do you know if the water they've used is 'personally passed by the management' or not ?

Thanks to the problems of smoking tobacco I hope you'll excuse my sceptical view of the so-called replacement. It's not breaking a habit, just giving you something else to spend your money on...

My wife was quite a heavy smoker and since she has been on the e-cig she has stopped the proper cigarette in over 2 years. me I was able to quit without them thankfully but not everyone can unfortunately.

I do have concerns as to what is going into these things but hopefully they are less harmful as the real thing.

they can be quite expensive for what they are but still cheaper than tobacco.
