Update!!

Had my knee replacement done on Monday... all went well. I am walking around with the walker very well. The swelling in my knee is unbelievable !!! Icing often and elevating my leg. On Monday I start a at home PT program for 2 weeks and then I will be going to out patient PT. Can't wait to get back to my long walks. O2 levels have been on the low side but was told this is common after surgery and is improving. Also can be the side effect of the pain med I am on. So I will be glad when I get back so some sort of normal!

Hello Solidly, so pleased to read you are up and about. I know several people who have had knee/ hip replacements and they all said it changed their lives for the better. The swelling is a momentary inconvenience and soon you will be back on your lovely long walks. Much love. xx 🌻🌼

So pleased it all went well Solily and wishing you a good recovery. My friend in the USA had her knee surgery a few months back and is doing really well. She found swimming helped too.

So pleased it all went well for you. My husband’s knee swelled up after his knee replacement. However he’s not looked back and regularly walks several miles a day.

that is great to hear that everything went well. I have a relative and also a friend and they have both had knee replacement in the last few months. I guess the pain is pretty intense, especially initially, and one of them got bad spasms as well which were very painful and kept him from sleeping.

My knee looks like a football... so much swelling!! My first doctors appointment post surgery is today. Been icing and taking my pain meds. So glad that my husband is here to help me!! How have you been doing since your surgery? Have a great day!!🌺
