Progressing quite well from my knee replacement. I stop using the walker in day 4 and now I am not using any walking assistive device!! Working hard with my physical therapist. He had me walking outside down the block I live on.... felt so good ! The exercises can be brutal!! Still dealing with much swelling and stiffness but it will only be 2 weeks post op on Monday . Also quite tired which is not my normal but I know this is common after surgery. So... overall I think I am doing well! Can't wait to once again go on my long walks . xx

So pleased you’re doing well Solily. You’ll be going on your long walks before you know it. Well done to you and your physical therapist for making it happen. Xxx🩷🥰
That sounds like very good, if somewhat painful, news. Well done, you. xxx
Oh wow only on day 4 and your making great progress, this is really good news, you will be back on your long walks before you know it. Well done x
sounds like your doing a fantastic job of getting movement back into your knee … well done 👍
Hi ,I had my replacement four weeks on Tuesday.
Yes the exercises can be painful, but my pain is less now and can raise my leg up off the bed. Still using my crutches for support but taking some steps without them. Good luck and take care,
Deborah
Good luck to you!! Exercises are brutal.... but need to do them... thats what I keep telling myself. And something as raising you leg up off the bed is such a step forward . Take care of yourself xx
Go go go how amazing you are doing so soon
👏 👏👏 bravo ! So pleased all went well & you're on the mend and I hope each day the pain & inflammation lessens. ××
That's really good news. I have seen people who can hardly walk then have a knee replacement and the difference is amazing. Brilliant. Keep us posted🙂xxx
You seem to be making miraculous recovery, just what you hoped for Solily. So as they say onwards and upwards. The Physio is important so best wishes but do take care. x
Brilliant! I had both my knee joints done at the same time in 2001 and they are still as good as new. The hard work that you are putting into them now will repay you a thousand times over. 😀xx
Hi! My Husband had both his knees replaced and like you he got on quite quickly. The exercises are imperative. He religiously did them and it wasn’t too long before we were going out for days again. I hope you will be the same. It sounds very much like you are a positive person.
Well done you, keep on going and you will get there !😘 xx
