Hello everyone, just been to the Thursford Christmas Spectacular, The show was marvellous except fo one hitch , we were on front row getting full blast of fireworks and haze. It was not overly done but sadly it did effect my chest, its taken all week to get back to normal again. The cost of enjoying yourself but it was worth it. Saw the surgeon on Thursday for my knee , need another few tests before they call me in for op, but it should be in 12 weeks at maximum. So anytime between now and February, will be back in action 12 weeks after the op if all goes to plan. So fingers crossed for me please. Busy trying to get ready for Christmas as my daughter-in-law is coming from Oz on the ninth December. Hope you are all well and keeping warm x PS sorry it is a knee replacement I am having.

Glad you had a great time at the Christmas spectacular despite the smoke.
Hoping all goes well for your knee replacement Katie and don’t have to wait too long.
Enjoy the visit from your daughter-in-law. Xxxxxx
Good news all round for you for once ..... the operation and then family 🌏coming all the way from Oz. It will certainly be a special Christmas 🎄for you and your family. 🐿💞
So glad you enjoyed Thursford. You have brought back some wonderful memories as I used to sing at that many years ago with the school festival choir! One year we were even stuck there when we were snowed in! 😳. All the very best for your busy few months x
Nice to meet someone who has sung in the Thursford show, its been around for quite some time but certainly expanded since its early beginnings. Heres hoping we don't get snow for now but a white Christmas adds to the magic doesn't it.?
I hope you get your knee replacement surgery soon and make a good recovery so you can be back in action quickly. 🤞
Wishing you a wonderful Christmas with your family from Australia 😊
Good luck for your knee replacement. Have a wonderful Christmas with your family reunion.
Glad you enjoyed the show Katie, shame about the smoke. Good luck for your knee op, lets hope you hear soon. Even better news that you have family over for Christmas, the excitement of shopping for them will keep your adrenalin going x
Might keep the adrenilin going but the body says no but I have been through worse times in the past so as the song says "I will survive" Off to a Christmas lunch on Wednesday with my group . Have a nice day x
We should have gone to the Thursford Spectacular a couple of weeks ago but had to cancel due to my vertigo which decided to play up after having no attacks for a year. Our friends were still able to go and said it was brilliant. It sounds really wonderful and I was pleased to see your post as everytime someone mentions it I imagine I was there! Shame about the fireworks but glad you enjoyed it anyway. xx Moy
I pray all goes well with your knee replacement and with Christmas.
Oh pleased to hear the show was good. We are there on Saturday evening for the 1st time. Sorry to hear the smoke affected you so much. Enjoy xmas with your daughter. Hope your operation goes well. Katieoxo60. Take care Brian
