Happily, Tigger is well enough to have left hospital now, and has been started on new treatment. Unfortunately, this has led to some pretty nasty side effects so just waiting to see what will happen about that. She has been able to see her beloved daughter which meant the world to her, so that has given her some peace. More care has been put in place for her now, as home is where she wants to be, and is doing well so far, apart from the side effects of new medication.
She is feeling very positive, but understandably very exhausted and needs plenty of rest for now, but she picks up quite quickly usually, but has had a hard time of it lately.
If there is any further news I will let you know, and Tigger is very appreciative of all your lovely messages, as I have said before.
Apologies from me in advance if I do not get replying to you easily, as there are power cuts and internet problems which have been going on and off since the early hours of the morning.
Take care,
hugs from Huggs xxxx

It is good news, and again my apologies for the delay, but was waiting on tigger getting back to me, plus I was on the mainland yesterday and have had power and internet failures on and off all day.
I didn't get any sleep last night due to storm, so getting sleepy now! I think I will take your advice. Thanks June. Take care,
Brilliant news MB, tigger and her daughter must be so happy she has come home, shame about the side effects of her new meds , hopefully they can sort it for her Asap, and hopefully with extra help at home that should hopefully keep her at home.
Thanks for that, and my apologies for not replying sooner. I have not heard from Tigger for about a day and a half now, so hope she is doing okay, and its just the meds knocking her for 6. The last time she emailed was to say that some of the side effects were calming down a bit. I think she will be sleeping a lot, but also has people in and out all the time.
You are welcome, and apologies for the lateness of the reply, but have had a rough couple of days myself, but am okay now. The storms have also gone so that should ease things too.
I have a theory that the air pressure affects our breathing. My sats ans FEV1 are normal ( for me ) but I get puffed a bit quicker than normal on some days.
I think you are onto something there as I have thought for a little while now, that a low pressure system affects our breathing and sats, as mine are a bit lower than normal for me, and have heard of others noticing the same thing.
Not a lot we can do though! Maybe move to another climate. lol Lots of people have, but don't know which is best. I think some people have said Portugal or parts of France is more suitable for them.
Moving abroad is not an option, well unless I win the lottery that is. LOL
Thank you for all you do huggs, its good to hear how tiggers doing, I hope she starts feeling much better soon, medicine is complicated sometimes, sorry im learning to use my kindle, cant find capitals etc, love to you and tigs, huff xxx
You are welcome, and its no bother. My apologies for the lateness of my replies, and thanks for supporting Tigger. The last I heard was that some of the side effects were calming down, but her health is very complex so it must be difficult for the medics to find the right balance for her.
Didn't know you could do things on a Kindle other than read! I am all behind, so to speak. lol
Thanks for that, and have had a good rest now. I haven't heard from Tigger for a bit, and that is unusual. Hopefully she is resting well, and will get in touch when she is able.
Great news for Tigger, wonderful that she could come home and see her daughter. I really hope those side effects settle down. Wishing you well Tigger. Today is becoming a day of good news on this forum.
Thanks for the update Huggs, I have been thinking of Tigger, and wondering how she was doing.
My apologies for the late reply. Yes Thursday seemed to be a good news day for a few people, not least yourself, and I bet you still have a big grin on your face. lol
Tigger hasn't been in touch for a bit, but the last time she said her side effects were calming down a little.
Glad to hear that you are at home Tigger. It is always better being in your own home. Very pleased to hear from Huggs that you have increased help. This must be a big help for you and your daughter. However much it is annoying having to have others fussing about in one's own home I bet it will ease the strain on you and leave you more energy for yourself.
Thank you Rib, on behalf of Tigger for your lovely message of support. I haven't heard from her for a little bit, so hopefully she is catching up with sleep and resting. The side effects from her meds had calmed down a bit so that must help too.
Take care,
hugs from Huggs xxx
Wonderful news! Keep smiling Tigger,& thanks to the Golden Secratary, for keeping us updated! Much love to both of you xxxx
Thanks for your support of Tigger, as it is most welcome. Its not a problem keeping you updated Wen, but I am now looking for a PA. LOL Are you interested? ha ha
You take it easy, and keep resting as much as possible as I know you are having a terrible time with the humidity just now. Its hard for us in the UK to imagine that just now. The storms have stopped now, although still cold, and light snow falling occasionally.
Morning Hugs, Good news that Tigger is home and that she has seen her darling girl, Meds are such a mixed blessing, things that are going to improve your wellbeing, shouldn't make you feel poorly, Do hope things will improve soon,Best wishes to you both,Bulpit
My apologies for the late reply, and thanks for your support of Tigger which she greatly appreciates. Some of the side effects of the meds were settling down a little.
Yes it is, and some of the side effects are settling down a bit now. Have not heard from her for a bit, so hope she is resting and recovering well. Seeing her daughter gave her a big boost.
My apologies for being late in replying to your kind message of support. Thank you, yes I have caught up on some sleep now. The storms have stopped now, so that's a big help. I haven't heard from Tigger for a little bit, but the last time she said the side effects were calming down a bit.
Hope you are doing okay, and that hubby is continuing his recovery well.
Well Huggs Hope you get this reply during the up times in the weather, thank you for the update on Tiggers. Good news she is home and seen her daughter. Not so good the drug side effects,as it can take a while to sort out. She deserves to get a bit extra TLC at this difficult time, so hope her extra care works well so she gets better sooner for her little girl. Sending all my best wishes to both of you xxx
The storms have stopped now, and I have been catching up on sleep so apologies for my late reply. The last time I heard from Tigger she was saying that some of the side effects had started to settle down. Her health issues are so complex, that it must be difficult for the doctors to balance things out correctly.
Thanks for your good wishes and support. Hope you are doing okay and not in too much pain.
Thanks for that, and my apologies for the lateness in replying. The storms have stopped now, and its so eerily quiet without the wind, and next week looks fairly settled so should make the mainland on Monday.
I haven't heard from Tigger for a little bit, so hope she is resting well.
It is so good that Tigger has help at home and that she doesn't have to cope alone with all she has on her shoulders. Hope things will look brighter for her when she has gets over the side effects of the new drugs.
You are welcome for the update, and the last I heard from Tigger was that some of the side effects were settling down a bit, so hope that has continued.
