Trimbow inhaler.
in the bronchiectasis guidelines trimbow is marked as not recommended for bronchiectasis. It is a drug for copd. However, I see that you have sarcoidosis and it may have been prescribed for this. You really need to have the care of a bronch specialist who will be able to deal with the extra complication of sarcoidosis. GPs and general respiratory consultants do not have the expertise to treat bronch successfully. If you don't have one please do set about finding one in your area. Take the name to your GP and insist on a referral.
I was offered Trimbow but refused as a few members have said it didnt agree with them. I have now been prescribed a new medication manufactured by AstraZeneca. Being delivered today. It replaces my Spiriva and Surdupla. Will let everyone know how I find it in due course xxSheila💕⚘
hi falcon i had trimbow awful made my breathing ten times worst . try something different xx good luck
I started Trimbow about two years ago and swear by it. I have COPD and bronchiactasis. It really does help me breathe better and I attribute the fact that I have had fewer exacerbations to it. But we are all different and with different reactions.
