Good morning all, I have a question... I have been taking Trimbow for a few months now and (unless I’ve gone blind) I cannot find instructions that say ‘shake’ before use! Anyone able to comment please?

Trimbow inhaler
The leaflet does not seem to have the instruction to shake it. A link below to the leaflet if anyone cares to have a go at finding it.

I agree with you, I couldn't find it on the leaf lettuce et either. Have a lovely day and take care of yourself 😊 Bernadette xx
All inhalers should be shaken before use.
If Trimbow is one of the Ellipta inhalers, you don’t need to shake them. I have Anoro, previously had relvar and incruse. No need to shake any of them.
My Lung consultant and my COPD doctor both advise the need to shake the inhaler as it contains 3 types of meds and by shaking the inhaler it ensures you obtain equal distribution of the meds. Also always use the chamber when possible. I will always follow the advice of my consultant who happens to be of of the leading doctors (Mr.) in the country
It's a pressurised inhaler, I don't think you need to shake it.
Sorry! I was mixing up Trimbow with Trelegy which is an Ellipta one, is powder and no need to shake.
Yes you do need to shake before use. My pharmacist gave me instruction on its use. Hope that settles you question. I find Trimbow extremely good.
I always shake any inhaler out of sheer habit!!
Hi I’m on Trimbow, the best inhaler I’ve had, I couldn’t find it on instructions either but I do shake it, think it’s out of habit as I shake all of them I’ve had.
Yes I understand why you do , I will shake it I think, thank you
Why not shake? Can’t do any harm and gives a little exercise.
Good day I don’t know if you have any other inhalers but all inhalers have to be shaken before use, hopefully this is useful
I do have other inhalers and each of those do state in the instructions that you must shake before use. The confusion was that my new Trimbow (I believe) didn’t state this! No problem though, thank you
Yes you do have to shake trimbow . Not sure if this is widely known >> Trimbow should be stored in fridge

Re: Trimbow® (beclometasone/formoterol/glycopyrronium)
Dear Ms Seymour,
Thank you for your email enquiry regarding Trimbow®(beclometasone/formoterol/glycopyrronium).
You would like to know whether the Trimbow inhaler should be shaken before being taken. You could not find anything in the instructions telling you that it should be shaken.
Medical Advice
In the first instance, we would recommend that you speak to your Doctor, Nurse or Pharmacist regarding any concerns or questions you have with your medication. As a Pharmaceutical company, it is important we do not interfere with the relationship with your Doctor, Nurse or Pharmacist.
Trimbow pMDI does not need to be shaken before use which is why there is no information in the Patient Information Leaflet (PIL).
Trimbow has been made as a solution, meaning that the beclometasone, formoterol
1
and glycopyrronium are completely mixed . This ensures that the active ingredients
are equally distributed, so the same dose is given in each puff.
I would like to point out that if a patient does shake Trimbow before use it will not be adversely affected (i.e. shaking Trimbow will not cause a problem but it is not necessary).
I hope this information is of value. If you require any further information, please contact Medical Information.
Yours sincerely,

Hi Nina. I just give it a few shakes and off you go... had to stop taking it at 4 months due to loosing my voice and a sore throat.
I’ve been on this medication for quite some months now, sadly for my hubby I have never lost my voice!!
