Hi just wonderd if any one else has been on trimbow inhaler . I started on it 6 weeks ago and the last 2 weeks i have noticed a big differance in my breathing. I was getting i couldnt even mow the lawn in one go . As i have emphysema i will always get out of breath , but this inhaler has improved it . I cant believe the differance . It wasnt an over night miracle but i am so pleased . If your dr ever recomends u try it do so it will help .

Hi Colin that’s great news I’m so happy that it’s helped you👍 My hubby started it on Monday so we will see how good it works for him . I actually had never heard of it before so it’s great to hear positive results I’ll pass on the good news to my hubby. He coughs a lot the gp he saw on Monday was just laidback about my hubby himbeing diagnosed with copd it’s nothing to worry about she said your only stage one . She did listen to his chest incase he had a chest infection but I know she wasn’t doing it properly because you can feel it in his back and she didn’t listen to his back. Good news is he’s to see his own GP nxt week and I’m excited to think this inhaler will help . Good luck to you long may it continue👌Take care and don’t overdo things 🌷🌹

hope it helps him like me . Not a miracke cure but it has been a great help . I am not having to take salbutomol now since been on trimbow . It does take a few weeks so dont get down hearted at first . I was using salbutomol with it a first but then after a couple of days stopped it and havnt looked back since . Let me know how is doing with it.

I'm glad you are doing better! Some inhalers take time.

I had a COPD review today and they have put me onto Trimbow inhaler. The doc said that it would take a week or too before I feel the benefit . The reason was that apparently they no longer like to prescribe seretide inhalers for COPD. The reason is that the steroid in it doesn't stay in the lungs but leaks out into the body and can cause problems with your kidneys.

Does that lead to Diabetes then ?

I started Trimbow on Tuesday 🤞. Feel a bit better so hopefully once it gets into my system will start to improve. Encouraged by your post 😊

I will never allow anyone to change my I inhaler again after mine was changed to Fostair. I had serious side effects and allergic reaction.. some on here sat it's ok but myself it's definitely a no no no.I it took about 10 to 14 days before the reaction and it was a nightmare . All sorted now and back on Sirdupla which I have no problems with xx good luck
