Hi

I have now been on incruse ellipta 55 powder inhaler ( once daily 24 hour dose ) for over 6 months now and must admit it has stopped my wheezing and helped with my breathing that I have had since diagnosed with copd nearly 8 years ago.

I still take one puff of my ventolin before I go to sleep every night and at the moment that works for me and just hope this continues though the winter. I have also noticed while I have been on this incruse ellipta inhaler that I can sometimes hold my breath for 50 seconds to one minute while standing still, which I could not even count to 30 while holding my breath before and I know that sounds stupid and don't advise people to try that but it is sometimes my way of testing out my breathing. has I sometimes like to swim under water and hopefully am still at the mild stage. I am not sure if this incruse ellipta powder inhaler last 24 hours has stated but it is making me feel better in myself. I tried this same incruse ellipta inhaler 2 years ago and came off it after 6 weeks has felt it was making no difference to my breathing and wheezing but staying on this time for over 6 months I know I do feel better in my breathing with no wheezing and can sleep better because of that. Anyway just a little info about myself and hope you are all feeling ok through these dreaded times.

Very best wishes

That is good. Sometimes it takes a while for meds to seem to work for us. I think we often expect instant results and if we dont get noticeable results quickly we think the med is not working for us. Im glad you stuck with it and its working well for you.

Hi Music

Pleased to hear that the incruse ellipta 55 powder inhaler is working for you. It is not something I am aware of as I have been taking the Tiotropium powder inhaler for several years now. Hope you continue to improve.

Take care.
