COPD

Hi I have now been off my 7 day course of prednislone 5mg 6 tablets a day for a chest infection for over 3 weeks now and still feel has if nothing wrong with me, no symtoms of this COPD what so ever,

Have been on Ventolin for over 3 years one single puff of evening and one during the night because of wheezing and slight breathless and have not had to use my Ventolin once for over 3 weeks now BUT have been put on INCRUSE ELLIPTA inhaler has been on for 11 days now just one puff a day

So it could be the incruse ellipta inhaler why feeling good and no wheezing but just was wondering if I could have had a underlying infection and the predinslone have cleared it,, but surely you could not have a underlying infection for 3 years (could you ? )

Anyway I am just enjoying feeling good with no symptoms and wheezing with this COPD at the moment and no side effects YET from the incruse ellipta inhaler I have been using, but then I suppose its still early days so will keep my fingers crossed lol

hi lm on 2 prednisolone a day which lv been on for about 6 months

two weeks ago l tried to manage on 1 tablet a day, shock horror after

three days l could hardly breath,everything l did l was breathless.

so lm back on 2 a day, has anyone had the same experience ?

and is ther any thing as effective as predenisolone . god bless .rodders
