Incruse inhaler

I have just been given Incruse by my consultant. Its seems to be making my cough worse and it feels terrible when I use it. I have another powder inhaler as well and that's ok. Anyone else experienced this. As a bit of background I got asthma in 2015 after getting pneumonia and had pretty bad chest infections since.

I haven’t used this drug, but there others in the same category that may be better for you. One example is spiriva.

Sorry I can’t help much. I would call up consultants secretary and ask.

My Aunty tried that one and no did not get on with it, went back to the specialist and got it changed. It doesn't agree with everyone, but you don't know till you try and you've given it a go. Go and have chat about it.

Hi Consultant prescribed Incruse Ellipta it did not agree with me. It gave me a constant hacking cough. Unfortunately I had to stop using it. But some I am told do well with it. I was given this inhaler for breathlessness. It was a add on to my other inhalers which I do well with. Majt 😔

I recently changed from Seretide (twice daily) and Spiriva to Incruse and Relvar and they have made a marginal improvement for me. Remember to always rinse and gargle after each inhalation. That's important.
