Hi Ceris, I used No Limits they were very good, I think a lot depends on whether you have been hospitalised recently.
Thank you for that, we always use saga, am having to wait for the underwriters, I’ve never been hospitalised only had chest infections, I told them that , it seems that they will accept 2 chest infections but not 4, will try that one and see.
World wide insurance is one I have tried that is reasonable. However if you have had any infections or other illness in the past six month the premiums shoot up. Also if you are refused by one insurer doesn't mean you can't get insurance shop around . Good luck with it.
All Clear Insurance ? Chest Heart and Stroke used to have a list on their website .
Hi ceris, I have just renewed my annual insurance with All Clear. I was with them last year but wanted to try and get a lower quote. I tried 7 insurance companies recommended by others on this site but because I have 7 med problems and my husband has 3 only Staysure and All Clear would cover us. Staysure wanted £650 and All Clear wanted £550 for gold cover which I wanted in case I should ever take ill whilst abroad, these quotes were for annual cover as we travel as much as we can. Hope this helps save you time and that you get the insurance you need. Take care Maximonkey
Thank you all for your help with travel insurance, got a deal with all clear, £195.00 cheaper than saga and very helpful, will use them again.
Try money supermarket. Just found 8 days in Turkey for £228 with travel insurance saver. Haven't been abroad for over 2 years because of cost of insurance. Now packing my case and ready to go.
