Holiday insurance
Sorry I can't help. You could try writing 'insurance' in the search bar and recent posts with replies will come up. P
I have lifelong bronch and have used lots of different companies. Some did not charge extra because my bronch was controlled (and still is) as yours is. Unfortunately in recent years the people who devise the questions have no idea that bronch is completely different to copd and the same questions are thrown at you. Mostly they do not apply to us but we have to answer them anyway. I am going to the USA and Canada this summer and have chosen to use SAGA this time although they are quite expensive because I how have additional heart conditions and they understand the combinations better than the others. It is costing me more but I prefer the peace of mind.
Thank you
Try medicaltravelcompared.co.uk
Went to the US last year with a child at the more severe end of the cystic fibrosis disease spectrum, along with multiple other health conditions, and managed to get extremely reasonable insurance through a UK company called Towergate. They actually seemed to really understand the conditions I was telling them about, and despite having been in hospital 3 times in the preceding 12 months (grounds on which a couple of other insurers refused to cover her completely, despite being planned admissions), in the end my premium came out higher than hers! They even asked if the admissions were planned or not where other companies only wanted to know if she’d been hospitalised full-stop, and they (or their system, at least) knew to ask about portacaths etc. Was a very positive experience for a change, and I got £5m cover for three of us with a combined total of 16 medical diagnoses for around £300 for the full 2 weeks. The next best quote was well over £600.
Thank you
Go to chest heart and stroke website and bronchiectasis then travel insurance for the names of three companies , AbletoTravel, AllClear, and Direct Line. Good.luck.

I found Goodtogoinsurance very good for my complex lung conditions. Wherever you go quotes are pertinent to your personal and health information so you need to do plenty of research for your particular condition and circumstances.

Hi Julie14, I've just been diagnosed and sound in a similar condition to you. I've just joined this forum to find the answer to this very question as it's been causing me concern. Would you mind telling me where you got your insurance from and how much you paid? I think it's a little early for me to try and get insurance as I have more tests to come but the thought of this is getting me down ... and, most importantly, I hope you had a great holiday?!
Many thanks in advance!
