After some difficulty I have> . been able to get the braltus changed to spiriva respimat. Is the latter good/better than the braltus. I would like peoples views. Pugrobin

spiriva respimat
I don't know Braltus so can't comment on that.
I went from spiriva handihaler to spiriva respimat and found the respimat much more effective.
Hope that helps.
Have you tried the respimat yet? Its one sure way to find out. Take as prescribed and recommended, about the same time every day. always rinse out and brush teeth after use, then go on to eat breakfast. Just precautions I take to help avoid thrush in the mouth, coating the teeth or tongue etc.
Many thanks Bkin. I have not as yet tried Spiriva Respimat but I will keep in mind all that you have said
I have been on Spiriva for many years, doctor tried to change mine but i refused, they offered me lots of alternatives and i wonder if this was down to cost, my answer was why fix anything that is not broken
Like you I was switched to Braitus then thought it not to be so good and my GP switched me back for a couple of months but it proved to me that in reality there is no difference at all. I firmly believe we were switched to Braitus because it is simply a much cheaper version for the NHS but the drug inside the capsule is exactly the same for both brands.
