Dry Mouth
" Hello to you LawH1512.. I have been using A spivara for 4 years now ...and like you sufferd a dry mouth and hourse voice untill I started to rince my mouth out after each use... For me it worked..good luck to you with trying it. Megan..."
Drink plenty of water and swill mouth out after using hope that's helpful
Thanks !!
I carry a bottle of water with me everywhere and sip it as soon as my mouth starts to feel dry. I also use Xylimelts sometimes at night, to stop waking up with a mouth like the bottom of a parrot's cage.
Been on spiriva 10 years+ remember to rinse after every use and keep a bottle of water/juice available. Tangy fruit sweets or a packet of mints will also refresh the mouth when you're out and about if you haven't got fluid immediately available. Hope this helps and best of luck with your spireva. It's been a life saver to me.
I have been using this inhaler for 3 years and like you suffered a dry mouth and hoarse voice until Started rinsing my mouth thoroughly and gargling. Give it a try.
