Oxygen is a known desiccant (drying agent), you may need a humidifier attached to your oxygen supply. I am sure one of the oxygen users here will be along soon to offer you advice.
If your problem is night-time and when you wake, a humidifier box to run with your BiPAP machine will sort it. ResMed make one so have a word with whoever gave you the machine at your hospital.
I have a humidifiers box, it doesn't happen all the time I can't understand why. I've got appointment at oxygen clinic next month was thinking if anyone had same problem on here. to compère.
Thanks for the reply hoping you're feeling better by now. X norris3
I use Biotene either gel in a tube or a spray bottle. I use it (the gel )before settling down to sleep and always when I first wake to unglue my tongue from the roof of my mouth. Hope this helps as it's the only thing that has worked for me. Hope everyone has a better health year. Judydorney
I know how you feel, it is not the oxygen actually it is your medication. I use oxygen at bedtime, but my meds and RA causes Dry mouth, I also have Dry Eyes. Use Biotine or have a bottle of water near you. Good luck, it is a pain in the butt.
