Hi all. I have'nt bn on here 4 a while bn very busy at work. I was diagnosed with COPD 8yrs ago. Im on Ventolin & Eclira, i recently had a chest infection & i cant shake it off & im really struggling at the moment. Does any of u know of any other inhalers i could possibly have off docs. X

Hi

Inhalers will not resolve an infection issue, you need to go back to your GP for further treatment. Infection can be difficult to shift, may require different antibiotics.

Will have 2 go back to docs really struggling at mo, does'nt help bn a homecarer & going in & out of hot homes. Thanx stone-uk. X

I would add steroids to what Stone-UK said, you need both to clear an infection, steroids will dry out the mucus so the antibiotics can do their work so I was explained.
