Blood test results.

Friday, I was at my 3 monthly blood count appointment.

Been going there since 2012, every 3 months too keep an eye on my hemoglobin, iron and full blood count.

All good and not drifting down, had a hemoglobin, iron blood transfusion back in January this year and I'm still stable.

Need a blood transfusion every 2nd year for some reason, they can't get to the bottom of why my irion, hemoglobin drifts down.

Thank you, been a roller coaster ride since being diagnosed with bullous emphysema, during tests they identified I was enemic, this is what was causing my shortness of breath, I would not have known I had copd if it wasn't for this.

Once they gave me a blood transfusion my irion, haemoglobin were fine and so was my breathing.

I've had 2 blood transfusions to top me up since 2011 and I'm doing ok.

I see my blood specialist every 3 months to keep an eye on things, I've had cameras out everywhere and biopsys taken and she still can't work it out, why my hemaglobin drops every 2 years.
