Anyone on high daily dose of inhaled steroids like me? Concerned about future side effects, please help

Finally, after several weeks of agony my Relvar Ellipta started to kicks in. I'm on the highest dose possibile right now and i'm feeling waaaay better than before. The breath is perfect. I still have occasional chest pain and mucus especially with movements but i can finally live a normal life.

Singer with Severe/Brittle Asthma (non-allergic)

I'm currently on 184/22 Relvar Ellipta and Salbutamol after trying every other inhaler available. They didn't work and made it even worse; Relvar now works but the GP says it's the strongest medication they have that works for non-allergic asthma.

Medication

I’ve changed to Relvar Ellipta this week from Symbicort. I’m experiencing multiple side effects such as unstable blood sugars, continual nausea, skin irritation. Has anyone had a similar experience and do these go away. Thanks in advance

New Inhaler

I saw my respiratory consultant yesterday and she has changed my inhalers to Relvar Ellipta and Incruse Ellipta. Has anyone used these before and is it best taking in the morning or the evening x

Phlegm obstructing airways

My asthma isn’t great at present either which is getting sorted with Relvar Ellipta hopefully. Sadly huffing techniques doesn’t work either. I have take acetylcystein which has somewhat helped but still struggling.

Husband's COPD getting much worse - needs help

He currently has a blue inhaler for general use and a Relvar Ellipta inhaler (92/22µg) for use once a day. He uses both as prescribed but is running out of his blue inhaler too quickly. He eventually had his annual assessment with the COPD clinic on 23 March 2021.

So frustrated...

The only thing she did was change my fostair to relvar ellipta as she claims it is stronger, no idea if that is true.. I am at the point of completely cutting off secondary care as I see no point in it.

FeNO score

What surprised me was I'm on high dose Relvar, Incruse Ellipta and had been taking Prednisone for 3 weeks, this is the same score I had 18 months ago when first diagnosed and not taking any medication.

Help needed! Asthma or not?

* Trial 20 days of Flixotide didn't really do much * Trial 20 days of Relvar ellipta 184/22 made my lungs even sorer * Anxiety med Oxazepam has not helped to alleviate the symptoms For next three months I'll be in Flixotide 2x250µg and then have another PEF follow up.

Lifelong asthmatic

I am on Relvar Ellipta, Ventolin, montelukast, fexofenadine for allergies. According to the British Lung Foundation, I should have been among those selected for shielding but because I had a couple of "better months" this year I wasn't. Confused I am.

Why my asthma medications do not work?

The asthma medications that i take (an inhaled steroid called relvar ellipta) and albuterol (ventolin) do not ever have an effect of my chest tightness, mucus and cough. However i feel that i can breathe a little better. Should these medications only affect the breath?

Relvar ellipta, Montelukast should I be shielding?

I take Relvar Ellipta 184/22, montelukast and salbutamol as needed. From what I can figure I think that means I should shield? Interpreting the guidelines when you don’t know the medication names is hard work.

Phone consult with Chest Consultant

Going to try me on Relvar, and also adding in Incruse Ellipta as I am so short of breath. Also to keep taking the Montelukast which I have just started on 25th Sept. He will phone me again in 6 to 8 weeks to see if things have improved. He did say he has a "Plan B" if required.

Husky throat with Relvar Ellipta

Following a lung function test in September my FeNO score was so high I'm on a Relvar Ellipta inhaler highest dose. This has made a terrific difference to my lung capacity, I can now walk quite long distances without being breathless. But I've almost lost my voice, some days better than others.

Anoro

When John came out of hospital after having pneumonia his consultant stopped Relvar Ellipta and Incruse Ellipta and gave him Anoro to inhale instead which I believe is a non steroid inhaler. I found it odd as he was really breathless.

Sore throat/headache/eye pain

I moved from Seretide to a Relvar Ellipta and Incruse several months ago. I keep getting headaches, sore throat and eye pain. I’m not sure whether it’s the Incruse or the Relvar causing the problems. Does anyone have any experience of these symptoms whilst on Relvar or Incruse?
