Just wanted to say that after years of getting chest infections and feeling ill, I now feel great due to the new inhalers I've been given by the hospital, they are Fostair and Eklira. First of all I started Fostair and I was still getting chest infections and pneumonia and then I was give Eklira which the hospital said would stop me getting infections, and it has. I can't recommend them enough.

Just on a year back I had a full check out with lung specialist. I suffered with bronchitis a number of times each year. And Cronic Broncitis up to 2 times a year. I was living most time in Thailand and getting a fever all the time. I was in and out of Hospital. I was very close to getting my angel wings. The Hoospital Doctor never really had a clue, she loaded me up with antibiotic drips and over doses of Steroid injections which ended up with losing my musel use. I got so weak and would need help getting up the stairs to my bed room. Many times difficult to breath and would have to side up in bed to help with breathing. I would go back to New Zealand 2-3 times a year and get checkup with my Doctors. I had a CT scan on my lungs pretty clear but for a module in the right lung at top right side. Anyway this lung specialist gave me a Bronc, what ever, camera down and a wash. That was all ok.
He said I had been on breathing puffers with Steroids in for too long and took me off them, and started on ANORO A POWDER ONE TIME EACH MORNING AND MOUTH PUFFER RESPIGEN WHEN NEEDED. THEY work very well for me. But I believe the main thing was going on Champix to stop smoking. Which worked, 9 months now. I have very little breathing problems any more.
