The last 2 dewars we've had came with only 7 lights on, then seem to go down very quickly - the one they delivered last Thursday had 7 lights, is now down to 4 lights after only 5 fills - they usually last us 3 weeks ! anyone else having this problem?

I don't use LOX Gidge. Have you checked for leaks?

Well, not that easy to do! No obvious signs, but as it evaporates it's just a clear gas......I got fobbed off with the first one, told they always do that (which they don't), they replaced it after a week; I was just about to phone up again this morning when Dolby phoned to see if I needed a new tank this week, so I told the rather more sympathetic operative what was going on, he promised to pass the details on and I will get another one on Thursday. Obviously if it is leaking, then it is all in my garage - which does highten the fire risk I would have thought. Ho hum. Don't relly want to go out with a bang! It is possible that the indicator light is faulty - but very unlikely to be so on 2 consecutive dewars, when we've not had a similar problem since we started using it in December.
