Wife had visit from physio at 8:30, left her a bit light-headed, then call from hospital to ask if appointment Thursday at 10:30 OK.
We have an almost 2 1/2 hour drive to hospital so early appointments not good. so we will go to Toulouse tomorrow and avail ourselves of grand-duaghter`s flat, only 20 minutes to hospital. Must remember to fill car up before going near motorway. Diesel 2.20 euros on motorway and our pensions from UK gone down again thanks to drop in value of pound.
Still the sun is shining and we do not have Johnson as pm.

Macron is president by default. System is designed to keep any outsiders OUT. There are certainly worse than Macron but think he will be handicapped after elections this month for new MPs. He could lose a lot of support and leave him unable to make many changes. Not a problem because the French do not want to change.
Thank you, as we will not be in a hurry might take ordinary roads to Toulouse instead of mototrway. At least that way we do not spend 25 euros round trip for motorway tolls. Overnight stay then back home Thursday afternoon/evening.
Hope all goes well with your wife's appointment on Thursday . Nice that you can stay overnight in your grand daughters flat, I am sure it makes things alot easier for you.Sadly we are stuck with Boris but then I cant stand Macron either. I try to avoid politics nowadays and hope the rain moves off to give us a sunny day x
Please be careful driving, we have had some dreadful downpours overnight. I am wondering if we will have a summer here in the UK this year , you are so lucky in France x
Hope your trip and the hospital appt go well. And that temps are lower than here in Spain - a pretty hot June so far with 35 +. I wonder if light headedness is usual. I get it after physio too - weird.
Thank you. Stiches removed and next appointment 3-4 months and then remove the little tube that rund from eye into nose. Once removed the new tear duct should drain the eye on its own.
