Hi just wondering if anybody has this happen .I have recently started using Trimbow and I always rinse mouth out well after use .But now It seems to be causing a burning sensation in my throat and high up in my chest.I keep thinking I'm going down with a bug then it clears throughout the day then comes back after using the inhaler.Might be a coincidence.
Trimbow: Hi just wondering if anybody... - Asthma Community ...
Trimbow
The patient leaflet for Trimbow advises the user to inform their doctor if they experience a sore throat, feeling of a chest infection etc. Unfortunately, these side effects aren't rare and can be detrimental to one's asthma control and health. Not every inhaler is good for every asthmatic and there are other inhalers that could be more effective for you, with fewer side effects. I was on a similar inhaler and I kept losing my voice, which played havoc in my job. But I then experienced additional side effects, so had to change to a different treatment. Voice returned and I also felt healthier.
Never ignore side effects.
hiya
I have Trimbow excellent and has significantly reduced my symptoms so IF you can sort out the side effects worth continuing with
But obviously side effects need discussion with your GP
Good luck!
Hi - I tried Trimbow earlier this year, and had similar issues, which then progressed to an itchy blotchy face. It turned out I was allergic to one of the 'ingredients' in it. Definitely flag it to your GP.
Rang docs surgery spoke to a nurse.Advised to try using a spacer and still rinse mouth well.If no better in a week ring back to let them know.My throat sore and my voice very hoarse and nearly gone completely .Will try the spacer
