CBD OIL

Has anyone on here tried CBD oil for osteoarthritis & nerve problems, it is so expensive so I don't want to buy and find it doesn't help but I cannot tolerate opiates and the like. I can tolerate NSaids but they have really bad side-effects and can only be taken now and again for short periods with any safety. My pain is getting so bad each day is like a marathon of late, I dread starting each day and wake frequently at night there must be something out there, so hopefully someone on here might have given this a try and can give me an answer please

I am using CBD for osteoarthritis and have had great results. I was on 250mcg of Tapentadol a day and now am only using 50mcg. My pain has not gone but is very manageable and my head is so clear and my mood much better.

Products look expensive but using paste is much easier and more managable.

I make sure I buy from a good online source, not a high street store as I can make sure the source of the cbd is organic and from quality plants.

Be aware though that cbd can't be used like a painkiller. Its effect builds in the body as the cannabiniol system gets activated. It was several weeks before I noticed the positive effect. It also has to be taken regularly not just when pain is bad. I also use a balm for topical application.

In my opinion its marvellous stuff.

Thank you for your response it sound very encouraging. Would you please be able to tell me from what online source you buy your CBD and also what and where you get your topical application. I a little dubious as to where to get this from on the internet. Also thank you for explaining the use of this I really would like to try and would probably have given up if not for your explanation of how it needs time to activate the cannabiniol system

I buy from cbd brothers online. The balm too.. I find their products good quality.

If yiu are on FacebookI would suggest that you join a CBD support group. I am with CBD support UK/EU but there are others. They have helped me enormously with advice and support.

Hope to hear some positive reports from you in a month or two

Hello Vondel !! I tried many times CBD oil and it never worked for me, no relief at all from the pain and I give up. I will never buy it for the price they sell it (here in the US about $90 a month supply. But I receive many calls asking me to accept a sample for the shipping price of $4.95 and each one tells me this one is the best, organic, the purest, etc.. when the trial is over, I call them and they want to give me the biggest discount if I want to keep trying and sometimes I accept but never worked for me, nothing, nada, zilch, rien!! Sorry

Thank you for you input I do not know what a months supply would cost here in England I hate to think and I am not feeling very competent looking it up on the internet with so many fake companies on there. I asked the previous person that replied to me which site he used but haven't heard back as yet, so still very undecided

Hi all, I have been following the various debates on CBD oil for a year or more in the hope it may be useful for the OA in my knees and hip. It appears to be legal at the moment but I have heard a report that the stuff sold on high street shops is so diluted (2.5% to 5%) is too weak to be of any use. Whether this is true or not I do not know. Apparently the real strong stuff is available but at something like £100 a small bottle. Far too expensive for most.

Pain killers don't work on me, like so many others. The only things that gave some relief were NSaids which the doc advised me to come off as they were not suitable with my other meds. I have Tiger Balm (Red) which gives a little relief for a while and recommend it for others to try as it's only about £4,50 for a small jar and because you rub it on sparingly lasts a long time. I think the jury is out on low strength CBD at the present time.

Hi there I'm using cbd oil for my arthritic hip I'm only taking the low strength one 2.75 mg and its has been nothing but brilliant £20 for a 10ml bottle which is 240 drops from Holland & Barrett . not had to take 1 painkiller since I started using it 2 months ago .

Glad to hear that Pauk; it gives us hope. I will have to get approval from my doc before trying CBD oil as I'm on a lot of other medication.

I have OA in my neck along with trapped nerves, something I have been trying for about 4 weeks now is Turmeric, I drink two cups of turmeric tea per day and it has helped a lot. Look into it online and maybe give it a try if you think it might help.

Turmeric is a natural pain killer with no side effects.

Healthspan is selling high strength CBD oil. The customer comments range from very good to useless, but most people have only taken it a short time. I do not think they have been selling it long

Thank you I didn't know they sold it I have used them for vitamins etc. so I will have a look
