Hi sorry you are in so much pain. Have you tried heat. I was at pulminaory rehab because I also have COPD as well as psoriatic arthritis. The physio recommended using heat. And speaking to my GP about it she recommended a electric flease throw you can buy them from Amazon. Hope this helps. X

I feel for you - have osteoarthritis in knees and it's like someone stabbed your leg with a knife. I massage deep heat relief pain in knees before bed. Also am getting shot in knees and see if they help. Life is a bitch.

Hi Rattling1

Sorry to hear you are in so much pain. I use frozen food in a tea towel and it often cools me down which is fine when i'm sitting but you cant exactly jog about with a pack of frozen peas attached to your body (I use the term jog in a facetious way I can barely walk never mind jog),

I find ways to distract myself from the pain as nothing I have ever taken has helped so I don't take anything anymore. I go to counselling and its been a life saver its really tough to deal with pain alone. I go to a support group for Fibromyalgia, and i'm a member of the Arthritis association of Ireland. I do art, meditation, patchwork, sing, meet up with friends anything that will distract from the pain as much as possible I have a massage when I can. I still feel the pain but its not uppermost in my thoughts. I don't know if any of this is any help to you but I hope you can get something positive from it. Take care, gentle hugs coming your way.

Thank you for your reply I'm sitting here with hot water bottle on my knee . It's good to talk to other people that is going through the same and it helps to know what other people do to help with pain I will try the frozen vegs in the freezer as well as the heat . Sending hugs to you take care.

It maybe arthritis which was what I have. Ask to see a pain specialist.
