Septic arthritis

Hi is anybody here suffered from septic arthritis? I would like to have some advice on possible treatment to improve mobility and flexibility please

Thank you so much, PMRPete for the information which is very helpful.

My physio has discharged me few days ago because she said the MRI shows some deterioration of the soft bone on the hip joint and hip replacement is the eventuality. However, I am not ready to rid of my hip this moment and is feeling very disheartened.

I felt like you a few years ago and eventually the pain was so bad I agreed to a THR! I had never met the surgeon until 10 minutes before the op. He did a fantastic job in 49 minutes but the other one is showing signs of going now and I am getting close to the 85 cut off when they don't like taking chances.

Were you able to walk with ease after the replacement? How long does it last before you need a new one? Sorry to hear that your other hip is playing up!
