Oxycodone will need a taper if you want to stop taking it. Your GP should advise you how to do that. Have you discussed stopping with him/her ?

I can understand why you want to stop taking the drug but may I ask why ?

I have pain in knees and severe pain with an arthritic foot. I have been on oxycodone, and had no trouble getting off it. It didn't work for me anyway. I'm now looking into Tramadol - brand name Conzip, Ultram.
