I was wondering what referred pain other people have. Ive got Arthritis in my hips. But i get a lot of pain on my other joints as well. I have some pain in my stomach when i eat and drink and at random periods of time. i had bloods and water tests but came back ok. Some pain coming from the groin. and above the right hip area, right hip seems worse. Does anyone have this problem or think its all related to the hip arthritis?

Hi Lizaw, Yes, I get referred pain in exactly the same places as you do. I get a pain that seems to go all round my pelvis (not particularly when I eat or drink), and a lot of pain in my groin. I am waiting for a hip replacement but have to wait for the o.k. regarding my heart first. It all started with my hip but the pain has spread quite rapidly over the last year. Good luck! x
Hi there, i have Oa in the hips. I heard on the news a couple of times about the Nhs reconsidering the amount of people having knee and hip replacements. I hope this is not the case.
I have found that even small drops in temperature cause me pain. I used to get heart burn and noticed that I was always wearing the same blouse. On closer inspection the spaces between the buttons were rather long. Threw away the blouse,no more heartburn. I have also had stomach pain when staying with friends whose house was colder than ours, cold food and drink made it worse.
I had a painful hip on the side near the edge of the bed. It stopped hurting after I put on an extra rug.
Knowing this I was still surprised when my knee improved noticeably after a change to woollen long johns and a extra layer at night.
Ive got it in all my joints started with my hips right is the worst I put it down to hairdressing for over fourty years and standing while pregnant as i worked right up to having my children and always done gardening as single parent doc says I've just worn myself out I lost three stone to have a hip replacement then for breast cancer so not very lucky im afraid it's in my hips knees hands neck shoulders and hands
