Hi I'm wondering if anyone can help with my question. I've been in receipt of DLA for help with getting out and about low rate £21odd but just filled out new application for PIP and sent off 13th March. How long did you think it takes as I received a text saying thank you application received. X

My assessment was about 6 weeks after the form arrived with them. Good luck!

You will find that you have quite a waiting time as I did. PIP is quite a complex issue and you do really need help from someone who has gone through the process. There is a way to fill in the form and there is a 'Wrong Way'  in which you may accidentally sell yourself short on your health issues. I can give you some guidance but it not something to do on an open site. I can always give you my Email and then hopefully give you some guidance. Good Luck. Phil
