Has anyone tried Voltaren for arthritis pain. If so I'm curious on how good this cream does . This is sold over the counter but is prescription strength from what I've heard. How well does this cream help you if you are using this ? thanks for commenting in advanced .
A quick question: Has anyone tried Voltaren... - Arthritis Action
A quick question
Excellent -- I did get a larger 100g of the 2.32 strength prescribed by GP for a Bakers Cyst as well.
It did absolutely nothing for me! Everyone is different.
Personally I buy over-the-counter as follows: Glucosamine&Chodroitin, which helps pain in my rigid big toes; Turmeric, which helps with back pain. I’ve tried magnesium (which my husband uses with benefit for his arthritis) but no help, and we’ve both tried rosehip, no benefit to either of us.
Plus prescribed pain meds.
For me it was rubbish but my pain is in the bones more then the muscle.
Yes, its ok. I think consistency of use is the key!
I have tried voltaren but found it went on with a chill affect , tried deep heat witch I found much better with the application haveing a heat strait off
I found the over the counter option did not help, but my husband was prescribed it from.the go for his knee which was stronger, as the gave a little relief
No good for me I suppose we’re all different
I have used Voltarol (assume this is the same and is just an area thing), it was good for the first few stages of arthritis in my knee but doesn't work quite as well now.

Hermes 123 Hi there like all medications its horses for courses, some people will find it ok, others like myself it does nothing for me, even the strongest of medication goes right over my head. Right now I am awaiting injections into my spine, I have been waiting since early march when I had two cancelations, I am going through merry hell with my pain hardly get a night sleep and exhausted throughout the day and I am down as a urgent case. Volterol is the brand name for diclofenic topical gel. You can also get high strength ibuprofen gel.
Yes it helps me, particularly on my hands but it's no miracle cure on it's own. I use it when I am in full flare and maxed out on all pain relief.
