I have arthritis in both of my feet and want to know if Skechers is still selling a shoe with the rocker bottom anymore. Does anyone know if they do or not. My feet are killing me by the end of the day after being on them for eight hours while working. Please if anyone knows if they do or another company that might please let me know. Thanks for your responses in advanced.

A Shoes Question
I don't know if Sketchers is still selling the shoe with the Rocker Bottoms anymore .Put Sketchers up on the internet and you can have a good look through their catalogue.
If you can't find any, have a look for HOTTERS. These are the only 2 places that I buy my shoes from now.
Because like you, i also have Arthritis in my feet .Also in my knees and hips and hands. Oh yes very painful.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck. Hope you find them. 🤞.Gjkas.
Gjkas, Mine feels like it’s in the Midfoot part of my right foot . It hurts worse than my left. It was swollen and puffy on the top last night. Actually it has been for quite sometime now. It’s very hard to walk on it right now do to the pain in that one foot.
Have you been to your G.P about it lately. You didn't say what type of Arthritis you have. Is it Rheumatoid or Osteoarthritis. I know Osteoarthritis is painful, but Rheumatoid i think is much worse. Your joints swell up and burn.
OOOH really painful.
Can't you cut your hours at work. It doesn't matter what type shoes you wear. If you've got Arthritis in your feet. You're gonna be in Agony.
If it's been swollen or puffy for a while, you could even have a build up of Fluid there. I'm not a Doctor. I'm just thinking of how my joints affect me.
Hope you feel better. soon. I know it's a misery when you're in pain.
Take Care😊..Gjkas
Gjkas, I’ve had to use crutches to get around on several occasions do to the point it gets to painful to put weight on that foot. I was diagnosed with OA in 2015 after it started in my feet and hands in 2013. But now it’s also in my right hip , knees all down my spine and several other parts of me as well. The crutches do help eases the pain though. But lately my right foot has hurt like hell both on the top of my foot as well as in the arch as well. I hope I don’t have to pull out my crutches again and start getting around on them for awhile. Damn this pain.
Gjkas, RA was ruled out when I was diagnosed with OA. Since my diagnosis 5 years ago the pain in my feet has increased. Especially in my right foot. My crutches have helped me a great deal the times I’ve had unbearable pain in that foot. Only draw back is it keeps me from being able to do anything I need to if I’m having to utilize my crutches for a few days to get around when that foot is very painful.
Hi , I'm sorry about not being able to get back in touch with you earlier, but have been really unwell.
I know what it's like when you can't get about to be able to do anything.
If you're foot gets too painful go and see your G.P. You could have a build up of Uric Acid in your body.
That causes Gout. It gets very Hot,
Swollen and painful. Im not a Doctor but that's how it affected me..
Flipping pain ruins your life when you have it constantly. 😰😭😪
Hope you can get some shoes that can help you. I find Hotter to be very good. They do a lot of different styles with Velcro Fastening. So when you're feel swells up,you can slacken them ..
Hope you feel better soon. 👍.
😊 .Gjkas
Gjkas, I wasn’t expecting for a reply back from you right away. You don’t need to apologize to me. I don’t go to my gp til April. I have mentioned it to him in the past and he said it planters fasciitis. But I don’t think that’s the case. Especially if it forces me to use crutches to get around. Its still puffy ‘‘tis morning on the top of my door in the same spots. But right now if isn’t real painful. Subject to change.
Im so glad that the pain have eased up for you. But if it flairs up again i wouldn't wait until April .I'd make an Emergency Appointment and go to see your G.P earlier..
Take Care. Gjkas..
Gjkas, It don’t go completely away when it eases up. I still feel it . Just some days are worse than others. The unbearable days are my worst. I’ve had days as well that my whole entire foot including the sides hurt like hell at times. I’ve tried wrapping it in the past on the days I’ve had to get around on my crutches just to stay off of it. I guess I need to try a brace for it too. I’ll be looking on amazon to see if I can come across one that will help it.
Gjkas , I don’t want to jinx myself do to I know his will act up again. To be honest I don’t know what my gp can do for me if I go to him about this. Only thing I’m guessing he’ll probably do is order x-rays of my foot to confirm that it’s arthritis I’m feeling. Unless he refers me to a food foot doctor in my area. Like I told you I’ve mainly nursed it all this time by using an ace bandage and my crutches when I couldn’t walk on it at all. I tell ya though this is getting frustrating in away for me. I know I have done anything to it what so ever not in a long time. Last time I had something going on with this foot I ended up in the ER at 2:30 in the morning hobbling night there on crutches then as well. They didn’t do much that night but send me home in an air cast brace and a prescription for pain and yes I was still having to get around on crutches. That lasted for two weeks before I end up in a doctors office for ankle and foot injury. Went in with the air cast brace and crutches and came out leaving in a big clumpy donjoy brace walker boot.
Have you seen a podiatrist? They can make insoles that May be of some help. I find New Balance trainers very good best thing I’ve found in years
Fj65 , I haven’t been to a podiatrist yet. Actually I’m not sure who would be able to help me more . My General practitioner or a podiatrist. My general practitioner knows about the arthritis in my feet. Also knows about the swelling I have too in the top of my feet. But I don’t think he realizes on how painful it’s been for me.
I have just joined here, I have JIA and a few years ago the Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital podiatary dept suggested Wolky Shoes to me. They are Dutch with a shop in Brighton and online shop. Although expensive they are worth every penny, will take personal insoles. I only wear these now . wolkyshop.co.uk
Wolky shoes are my favourite shoes too. Lots of choice and most shoes have removable footbeds and can be worn with your own orthotics. They last for years and are an investment worth making.
Vionics are recommended by podiatrists and are supposed to be very good
