agoraphobia is not nice , I suffer with it to , I have a family so find it easy to fill in the hours at home , even though I am isolated alot from the outside , but I feel secure at home , having said that I no it cannot go on & am soon going to be getting some councelling to help , to start with they are even coming to my home , have you spoken to your GP this may be good for you as well , our anxiety I believe starts the agoraphobia

If you cant manage going to the GP ask for a phone call from them

Let us no how you go on

Hi Rabbar

My agorophobia got a bit better since last year where I Couldn t leave my house not even feeling safe inside bymyself.

.so I can immagin how u re feeling.Hope you are looking for medical advice, ask friends or family to come to visit you so they will keep you company..Everybody can improve..I did but very slowly.I won t go faraway from home ( not more then an hour away)or to a new place so I m still very limited but counselling CBT and medicine helped me to get better...so let us know we are always here if you want to talk..

I know how you feel. Have you ever thought of working from home on the computer? That's what I do and I love it plus I am making money. It is hard to work on the outside. If you would like more information just go to blufftongal.OneBigPowerline... if you have any questions just let me know. And Good Luck!

Hello, bless you, I hope you are ok and coping well. I think having a schedule and a routine can be useful for example:

1) Mild exercise at 9.00am

2) Breakfast at 9.30am

2) Shower at 10.00am

3) House work i.e. laundry and hover the floor 11.00am

4) Use the Computer 12.00

5) Cooking time 12.45pm

6) Lunch 1.30pm

7) Relax and watch TV 2.30pm

8) Get out doors walking or fresh air or go out I.e. food shopping or visit a friend 3.30pm

10) 5.30pm do the ironing and make dinner

11) 6.30pm Dinner

12) Relax, spend time with family 7.30pm

13) Write in your journal 8.30pm

14) Pray/read the bible 9.00pm

15) Shower 9.00pm

16) Bed time 10.00pm

I think we sometimes might get tempted to overuse the computer and our iPads and laptops but having more variety is key. This schedule above might be useful on those days where you are stuck in doors, you can always edit this list and add your own ideas and to do list on them, but never feel lonely as so many of us ate going through this too lovely :-) we are always here for you. xxx
