hi im new here, i find it comforting to know this site can be helpful has anyone tried magnesium for anxiety
Hi welcome to this site!
Yes I'm taking magnesium but with calcium and vitamin d3 together and it does help a bit! It's called nature aid from chemist shop
Xx
Hi I was a holland and barrett share holder....LOL....
but in the end I took meds from doctor.....best thing for me....
I think that these natural remedies do help , but for MILD anxiety/dep etc......for the more serious I think medical help is the answer.....But thats just my thoughts.
It took me time to "give in" to meds......but as i,ve said before if your washing machine breaks down you don,t phone the chimney sweep!!!
I thought.....I,ll find a natural remedy....forgetting that even to be a expert in that takes years of study.....As I said above sometimes we need something stronger to kick start us to good health.....meds don,t have to be forever...then maybe a natural remedy can maintain our health.....I wasted so many years with various methods.. Now I wish I,d went for the big guns first....
But we are all different..that is what makes us human.....best wishes
Totaly agree wiv styd, i think it depends on how severe ur depression or anxiety. both anxiety + depression come in huge varying degrees. Most medicines r a lot stronger than anythin herbal.
Herbal can be good but if we are really unwell I have found I always need some kind of medication/sedative.
Been medication free for a few years now and herbal stuff is great to supplement my diet.
But I would not really upon it on its own if ever I slipped into severe anxiety and depression .
