Hi Milo, I have too, I was convinced there was something wrong with my eyes. I wear glasses for computer if they become tired but otherwise was told my eyes were healthy. Mine can last for hours too and I always end up with a severe headache afterwards. I find it scary when its happening!! x

Hi unfortunately for some this can be just one of the many symptoms of anxiety. I suffer terribly with this and especially at night. However, sometimes anxiety and a change in vision can be a prodrome to migraine. So if you also get a bad headache with it it's worth mentioning to your doctor as some medicines that treat migraine also help with anxiety. There are hundreds of symptoms of anxiety some more common than others but sometimes there are other reasons for some of the symptoms. :-) feel better soon.

Severe health anxiety

Rapid cycling bipolar

Hi Lilmsflynn, thanks for replying!!! Amazing how many symptoms there are to anxiety, I'm pleased I'm not the only one as this is a relatively new symtom for me and I've found it quite a scary one to experience. And yes migraines makes sense and I experience terrible headaches at the moment!! x

I agree, although since I have joined this website I feel so much better knowing there are people who have the same symtoms as me. At least I know I am not going mad and it helps to share our problems.

Yes, its a good source of support milo1. I suffer with my eyes too due to anxiety. They become itchy, blurry, sore, tired, and water alot when my anxiety is high. Can make it worse as then I orry about my eyes...so the cycle continues. I agree teri, it helps to share with others who can appreciate the reality of living with anxiety. xx ps. like the bike milo1
