I have been prescribed cipralex also known as escitalopram. Has atone tried them and are there any side effects

hubby had these and they made him gain weight and lose his libido.. I tried them and felt no different x

Hi Dianne, I was prescribed this a few years back. To be honest I didn't find it that helpful but nor did I get any side effects. Best just to give it a go for a few weeks and try not focus on what may or may not happen with side effects. If you get the right medication it could be a massive help so I would say it's worth persevering if you can with any initial side effects.
