I have recently changed over from sertraline to duloxetine and the doctor told me to just switch over immediately with no tapering which I did and have not felt any ill effects.

I would say to discuss this with your doctor, who should be able to,provide the information you need. I have not.”switched meds” but did taper off Paroxetine last year - normal dose 20 mg, reduced to 10 mg for two weeks, then split the 10 mg tablet in two, and went to 5mg/day for 2 weeks., then 5 mg every 2 days for a week, then stopped completely. Had no withdrawal symptoms this way.

Not what you're looking for?
